I’ve known Laura and Jerry for years and can vouch for them as top-tier operators. They run a tight ship at both the Sandstone Motel and the Eatery. Whether you’re stopping in for a meal or staying the night, you’re getting great service from honest, hardworking people who take pride in their business. A solid staple in the Milk River community—highly recommended!

Actually pretty nice. It's a small basic hotel in a small town. Overall pretty clean. Would stay again if I was in the area.

Came to Canada from Montana to get my global entry and stopped here for a couple drinks and some food. Small town, not very busy. We ordered the pizza and some kokanees. Fantastic service, very friendly waitress! I am super picky about pizza and the pictures on the menu do NOT give it justice. We ordered a pepperoni and it was FANTASTIC. I’ve eaten pizza all over the world and I would say it was in my top 20 favorites I’ve ever had. Cute little place in a small town, great service, and good food. Haven’t had the dessert yet but I’m sure it will be amazing!

My wife and I stopped by the restaurant for dinner one night. The restaurant is diner style. When we went it was virtually empty. From an ambiance point of view it would be low, but the food and service was terrific. I had the blue cheese burger and my wife had the simple burger. All the typical shrubbery on the burgers. The fries were delicious and a very generous helping. They had the hockey game on as well which I thoroughly enjoyed. While not a destination restaurant, it's a good place if you're hungry.

Rooms are good at this place. Food is not very good but its fine. Its a very good spot before canada USA border to stay for a night. They got a bar cum restaurant and a small casino inside. Nothings cheap inside and every single restraunt closes early in evening so better have your food packed on your way to this motel.

All staff were extremely accommodating during my pleasant stay while I was there. My 2 rooms were very suited to our needs., as well as super clean. Pet friendly was also a bonus ..even a different suited room for our dog. The day and night staff in the office and restaurant/lounge were nothing but great as was the food and .the location was also good.. mountain tops and a star gazing sky to view. Simply beautiful it has been. Thanks again for your super service , ..as I am still staying there...and will continue to be until I return to my home., provinces away.

If you have business at the US-Canada border, this is a great place to stay. Customer service was great; very friendly and helpful. We traveled with a 5-month old and the lady at the reception (and running the restaurant) was super helpful in setting up the playpen. The attached restaurant is probably the only decent restaurant at a 25-25 KM distance from the border. Food was pretty decent. The motel's reception allows you to print documents if you need any for crossing the border.

We have stayed here another number of times. The most recent was disappointing for the following reasons: 1. No Cable TV. Unable to watch Sports etc without logging into apps. Difficult to maneuver TV, even staff tried to help it was unsuccessful. 2. No Kleenex 3. No phone in room Other than the above everything else was good.
